Midas is built by a small team that got tired of watching independent brands, studios, and non-profits rent their presence on platforms they didn't own.
We started in 2022 as a single tool — a link-in-bio that didn't feel like everyone else's. Customers kept asking for the next thing: a small store, a donation page, a way to sell a workshop. Rather than bolt those on, we rebuilt the foundation as one platform where every piece speaks the same language.
What we believe
The numbers, honestly
Who we're for
Non-profits who'd rather spend on their mission than their software. Studios shipping indie games. Retailers with a point of view. Chefs who know their Tuesdays. Teachers and instructors running the kind of cohort they wish they'd had. Creators who think the algorithm is a coworker, not a boss.
We hire slowly and pay honestly. The team is small enough that the work you do shows up in the product by next week, and the company is stable enough that you can plan around it.
How we work
- Remote-first, with two optional in-person weeks a year.
- 32-hour weeks (4 days) by default. Fridays are yours.
- Salaries are public internally and indexed to SF-90 with a cost-of-living modifier.
- No performance reviews. Quarterly one-on-ones; direct feedback when it's needed, not on a schedule.
- Equity for everyone, 10-year exercise windows.

Short version: we collect what we need to run the product and nothing more. We don't sell your data. We don't sell your customers' data. Full stop.
Last updated April 17, 2026.
What we collect
- Account info you give us — name, email, billing.
- Product telemetry — which pages you visited, feature usage. Used to improve the product, never resold.
- Audience data you bring into Midas — donor emails, customer lists, RSVPs. This belongs to you. We are a processor, not a controller.
What we don't
- We don't sell any data to any third party.
- We don't train external AI models on your audience data.
- We don't run third-party ad trackers on logged-in pages.
Your rights
You can export, correct, or delete any data at any time from your account settings, or by emailingprivacy@midas.so. We respond to verifiable requests within 30 days, as required under GDPR and CCPA.
Subprocessors
A current list of subprocessors (payment, email delivery, hosting) is kept atmidas.so/subprocessors. We give 30 days' notice before adding a new one.
Plain-language terms. For the lawyer-pleasing version, see the appendix — linked from your account.
Effective April 17, 2026.
You own your stuff
Content, domain, audience, revenue — yours. If you leave, we help you export everything. We keep backups for 30 days after deletion, then it's gone.
We own our stuff
Midas software, brand, and templates are licensed to you to use, not resold. You can customize and publish sites built with Midas; you can't repackage and resell the platform itself.
Fees
Plan fees are billed monthly or annually, prorated on changes. Transaction fees are disclosed at checkout — no hidden add-ons. Refunds: within 30 days of a new annual plan, no questions.
Acceptable use
Don't use Midas to defraud people, host illegal content, or harass anyone. We enforce this as needed. A detailed list lives atmidas.so/acceptable-use.
Changes
We'll email you 30 days before any material change to these terms. If you don't like the change, you can cancel and we'll prorate your remaining time.
